WELCOME IN THE SQUARE

Meet in the main square with a bilingual guide (Italian and English). Enjoy a brief introduction to the history of the village and local emigration, followed by breakfast with espresso and typical pastries in a historic café.

MEETING WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES

We’ll organize a ceremony at the town hall in the presence of the mayor and local authorities. You’ll receive copies of your ancestors’ birth, marriage, or death certificates and take a commemorative group photo.

TRADITIONAL LUNCH

We’ll organize a traditional lunch in a typical trattoria with a menu rich in local dishes. Lunch will feature regional products such as wine, homemade bread, and olive oil.

To make your visit even more authentic, we’ll explore traditional workshops — textiles with ancient looms, ceramics, glassmaking, and other artisanal crafts — with live demonstrations.

FOOD AND WINE EXPERIENCES

We’ll organize private visits to olive oil mills, wineries, or dairies to taste local products — wine, oil, and cheese — directly with producers. The day will conclude with a hands-on cooking workshop, where you’ll learn to prepare a traditional recipe such as homemade pasta, a rustic cake, or pizza — just like your grandmothers used to make.

Our guide will take you to the most iconic places in town, including your family’s former home and the church where your ancestors were baptized or married. You’ll stroll through alleys lined with stone houses, admire fountains and ancient washhouses, and listen to stories and anecdotes from the locals.

Enjoy a meal featuring local specialties — meat or fish, according to your preference — paired with regional wines.

In the afternoon, we’ll arrange visits to major Italian companies that embody Made in Italy excellence: Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Piaggio, Lamborghini, Lavazza, Campari, Pasta Rummo, Ferrero, Prada, Cucinelli, and Bulgari.
