There are journeys that aren’t made with a suitcase, but with the heart. They are journeys that cross oceans, generations, and faded memories. Journeys that begin with a surname written on a birth certificate, a black-and-white photograph, or a recipe passed down by word of mouth. "Back to the Roots" is not just a journey through Italy — it’s a rediscovery of one’s origins. It’s walking the streets where grandparents or great-grandparents once lived, sitting at the table with people who still tell their stories. Because roots are never forgotten; they simply wait to be rediscovered.

CUSTOM GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH
Our collaboration with local archives, parishes, and municipal registry offices allows us to reconstruct the family tree and identify their precise places of origin. In some cases, we are able to find the names and of the ships on which our ancestors embarked and traveled.
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES IN THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
The immersive experience in the country of origin will allow families to visit the villages and towns of origin, meet the local community and the local mayor. We will organize a lunch or dinner with local families featuring traditional menus. We will organize workshops on local cuisine, crafts, and folk music.
NARRATIVE TOURS
With the assistance of an expert guide, we will organize guided walks to the departure points (ports, stations, places of memory). This will be an opportunity to listen to local stories and tales of migration told by the elders of the village.
WELCOME EVENTS
At the town hall, we will organize a symbolic "Back to the Roots" ceremony with the awarding of an "Honorary Citizen" certificate in the presence of the Mayor and high-level municipal representatives.
DIGITALIZING THE EXPERIENCE
For each family participating in the "Back to the Roots" Tour, we will produce a short documentary or a digital travel diary that recounts the day and the meetings. We will also give the family a photographs of the day and copies of their ancestors' documents.
